Rugrads is a brainchild of Chets and Kash - two design enthusiasts originally from New Delhi, India but currently based out of Brooklyn, New York.

Chetan Singh Kunwar is a Brooklyn based artist who loves to find moments within our mundane lives and draw them in hopes of making those moments permanent even though they are ephemeral. Kashish Chopra is also a Brooklyn based artist. She takes elements from his illustrations and translates it into a more tactile form in fiber art. These fiber art pieces encourage people to break the notion of "do not touch" and physically experience the art. We believe our job as artists is to make art and let people interpret our art in their own special ways. Our work is minimalist and we feel that it is very relatable. We are doers and taking culture forward one artwork at a time.

As a collaborative effort for Wanted Design 2021 - Rugrads designed these exclusive hand-tufted rugs for MoCollection to go with their furniture collection. These rugs are hand tufted in Brooklyn, New York with white cotton yarn and a mix of wool and acrylic yarn for the colored elements.
